Editor's comment Janusion scorpii, the type species of Janusion Leigh-Sharpe, 1933, cannot be moved to Heptacyclus Vasileyev, 1939 because Janusion genus has priority over Heptacyclus. The usage in which the recombination was made has not been recorded in WoRMS. If the two genera are synonyms (this may not be known with certainty) the recombinations would be Heptacyclus species moving to Janusion. The situation presumably requires further work. Likewise Malmiana Strand 1942 may be the same (according to Sawyer, 1986: 664) [G. Read, October 2023] [details]
